An outlet is the one piece of hardware in a room nobody chooses, which is exactly why a brass one changes the wall it sits on. Solid brass throughout, not plated, so the finish wears rather than flaking.

The weight tells you what it is before you fit it: about 1.5 lbs per unit, against a few ounces for a standard plastic receptacle.

Three types, on the same plate. Standard is a plain receptacle. USB-C adds charging ports so a phone or laptop cable goes straight into the wall. GFCI cuts the circuit the moment it detects a fault, which is what US code calls for near water, so it is the one to pick for a kitchen counter, a bathroom or an outdoor wall.

Built to US and Canadian standards and UL certified, as stated by the maker. It installs onto an existing US standard electrical box, a job an electrician does in about five minutes.

Before you order: this is US-specification wiring. It fits standard US electrical boxes and US household voltage, and is not suitable for European or UK installations. Fitting an outlet is electrical work, so have it installed by a qualified electrician and follow your local code.
